STAR Recruitment are currently working with a large building company based in Edinburgh who carry out healthcare, housing, education, retail and commercial projects primarily in the Lothians, Borders and across the Central Belt. They are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to be based out of their Edinburgh office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pipeline of opportunities
- Support and assist in all aspects of tenders (pre-qual and bid documents)
- Manage framework bids and agreements
- Generate new work
- Manage and support winning strategies for clients/projects
- Monthly reporting to senior stakeholders
- Attend weekly and monthly management meetings
- Represent and promote the company at events/meetings
- Build awareness of the company and its values
- Support the business to achieve its turnover target
Experience:
- Working in a Business Development role at management level
- Working within the construction industry for a medium to large sized contractor
- Ability to manage a team and clients
- Demonstrate recent winning achievements
- Understanding of all relevant computer programmes/processes
Package:
- £40,000 - £45,000 salary
- £5,500 Car Allowance
- 34 days annual leave (including public holidays and Christmas shutdown)
