Domestic Electrician

Fife

My client, who are a local housing association, are on the lookout for an experience domestic electrician. This will be a long term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports): Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of electrical installations in domestic properties.
• Remedial Work: Identify and carry out necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure installations meet safety standards.
• Rewires: Execute full and partial rewires of domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including EICRs and remedial work.

Requirements

• Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Basic Disclosure
• Experience: Proven experience in domestic electrical work, including EICRs, remedial work, and rewires.
• License: Valid UK driving licence (a company van will be provided).
• Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
