STAR Recruitment are currently working with a national facilities management company who is managing the staffing of large NHS sites across the UK. They are looking to employ a Maintenance Joiner for a large NHS site in South Edinburgh. This is a freelance position with a start available within the next 7 days that will run for around 12 weeks.

Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with procedures.

Complete report sheets and test certificates as necessary and make any drawing alterations.

Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities.

Liaise with Supervisor and Manager regarding the supply of good and services as necessary.

Assist & understand other skilled trades when required.

Carry out other tasks as requested/required by supervisor or managers.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience within a Healthcare environment would be an advantage.

Standard DBS check (Essential)

Appropriately recognised C&G, Scotvec (SVQ3) or equivalent in joinery (Essential)
