As they continue to grow, they are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join their dynamic team.
As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will play a crucial role in executing various maintenance projects across Scotland. Based from their West Lothian office, you will be responsible for a wide range of trades, ensuring that their clients' retail spaces are maintained and upgraded to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, tiling, plastering, and decorating.
- Undertake shopfitting tasks such as installing fixtures, fittings, and displays.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work in retail environments.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with clients and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical work).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driving licence (essential) – willingness to travel across Scotland.
- Flexibility to work out of hours and weekends if required.
- Relevant trade certifications are desirable but not essential.
